Kōno Closure: All You Need to Know

Learn about the discontinuation of the of kōno device and app. Get details about the refund process, customer account deletion, and handling of customer data.

For the kōno Community,

Thank you for your belief in kōno. For different reasons we need to end our journey. Here is all you need to know:

1. Cancellation of the kōno Device: We've  explored every possible avenue, but due to unforeseen challenges and significantly increased production costs, we will not launch the kōno device as planned on Indiegogo.

2. Discontinuation of the kōno App: Consequently, the kōno app service will also be discontinued from November 30th, 2023, as the kōno app and device were designed to work seamlessly together.

3. Refund Process: We want to assure all our backers and subscribers that your support will not go unnoticed. Every single backer will receive a full refund. Indiegogo will process these refunds in the next few weeks. For our app subscribers, we have contacted you separately via email with the details of the refund process. While we are covering the full amount, please be mindful of possible transaction fees or currency conversion differences that your financial institution might apply.

4. Data Deletion: To ensure your privacy and security, all user accounts and their respective usage data will be deleted after November 30th, 2023.

5. Account Deletion (Optional): If you wish to delete your account before the service discontinuation, kindly visit https://my.lamykono.com/profile and follow the provided instructions.

6. A Heartfelt Thank You: We want to express our deepest gratitude for your enthusiasm and your support. Your feedback and active participation in our community have been invaluable, and we appreciate your trust.
